Welcome to my page! I'm Gina Spadafori, a syndicated pet-care columnist in the U.S. and Canada. I'm also the author of "Dogs For Dummies," "Cats For Dummies" (with Dr. Paul D. Pion) and "Birds For Dummies" (with Dr. Brian L. Speer). These have all been translated into many languages.
I have quite a few animals in my life. Dogs include flat-coated retrievers and Shetland sheepdogs, plus pet rabbits and a caique parrot.
In addition to writing about animals -- and filling my life with them, of course -- I sometimes train with my dogs for various sports.
